On the Street

This afternoon in Kirkwall.

We visited several Neolithic sites today. They included the Ring of Brodgar, Scara Brae (3200 BC), and Standing Stones of Steness. The ring was disappointing, with lots of work being done on the grounds. Kind of like seeing the Eiffel Tower in scaffolding.

Yesterday on our walk I lost my x100T lens cap. Picked up a cheap version in a Kirkwall camera shop.

Lunch in Stromness and dinner at the Kirkwall Hotel - fish and chips.

Visiting here is like going back in time... in a good way.
