Honey time

We have not had much success with our bees this year, lost several swarms and missed the best weather.
However, in spite of it being rather squally the past few weeks they have been out foraging like crazy on that scourge of the countryside Himalayan Balsam. They come home covered in white pollen and obviously with enough nectar to lay down some honey. We have collected 9 jars of fine golden honey with a strong slightly sharp taste.
Well done bees!
