Bohring Greenhouse

The founder of Carlsberg was a bit of a botanist and built these two extensions to his mansion to house plants and trees. They are quite stunning from the inside and the larger room was also designed for entertaining, even having a built in orchestra loft.

This is particularly Bhoring because, after his death, the founder willed that the mansion be occupied by a bright academic of the day. Several notable minds have had the privilege, including Neils Bohr (30yrs residence). Carlsberg have, in this new development I keep moaning about, included 20 new apartments for even more academics.
