A Splendid Day With Friends

Friends N and C drove over to visit us today.  My husband used to play football regularly with N when they both worked at the same company (before M retired) and I have followed N’s blip journal for three years now.  It was lovely for us to meet N again and to meet his wife for the first time.
 
We all enjoyed a rather nice lunch at No. 1 Cromer, then we wandered around the pier eating our ice creams and enjoying the Autumn sunshine.
 
It was great to be able to show them around some of the beautiful coastal areas around our way.  We took them for a brief tour along the coast road in the car and then stopped at Blakeney, where we climbed the hill for a view over the marshes to the sea beyond.
 
A fab day, spent in excellent company.
