Picked them up from the side of the road. My brothers handlebars snapped clean off when he was travelling fast. He crashed into the cyclist next to him and they both ended upside down. My brother took the skin off his hip and has muscle damage and the other cyclist's arm is broken in 2 places. Once they were safely tucked up in the ambulance. I took the bikes home.

The pearl of the day was the male cyclist that jumped off his bike to see if we needed help. He checked the broken arm and said we need to get the gloves off because the arm and hand was swelling so much, he was head of the trauma unit at one of the Newcastle hospitals.
