Today is the first day of Daylight Saving.... the clocks went forward one hour at 2.am. It was thus dark at 7.am today. But I am looking forward to long day-lit evenings. Great for gardening and dog-walking.
One of our local supermarkets has been selling potted polyanthus plants. I needed more plants as some of ours need replacing. So I bought 24 at $1.49 each. They are getting to the end of their season so I am pleased with my purchase. Duncan and Mei were here overnight from Nelson. Mei made a lovely lunch while Duncan and I planted two more Rhododendrons and some other plants. A good day for gardening!
