There is nothing more frustrated than an injured runner. When I saw Sue (my physio) she did a sharp intake of breath when I said I'd planned to do 12/13 miles at the weekend. Having not run for 4 weeks due to injury, this was probably a bit ambitious. Sue suggested cumulative miles doing consecutive runs on Saturday and Sunday. Legs felt tired this morning and was not looking forward to going. My body proved to me its strong as we ran well and banked another 6 miles, ticking off my 12 mile target. Happy me!
