Wedding Part II

Three weeks ago I photographed a wonderful wedding in Turkey. Today was a further celebration of that event, to include the friends and family who couldn't make it out to Turkey. The participants included the groom's daughter, who is pregnant and therefore couldn't fly out to the Turkish celebration. Today's event also formally celebrated the new "blended family": the bride, the groom and his (now their) daughter (the one in the picture with her hand raised), and her baby expected in December.

In spite of the fact that I usually shy away from sentiment, I found it a beautiful and touching ceremony.

After the main event and a fabulous tea, the girls went for a ride on the carousel. You can see how happy everyone is.
