ANITA KLEIN. Out Of The Ordinary

Once a penniless art student at the Slade and Chelsea schools of Art, now a mother and grandma. Her work celebrates family life, with her daughters Maia and Leila, their children, her husband and a few friends who feature in her paintings and prints. At first her work was deeply unfashionable. Moments like bath time with two splashing children and a glass of wine waiting, or ironing with the TV on in the background.  Her Art on a Postcard series is for  raising money for the Hepatitis C Trust. This exhibition is on at The Contemporary Art Gallery in Trinity St Cambridge. I just love her work.
