Reflections

This is me taking a selfie of a portrait of me taking a selfie.  How convoluted is that!?

This amazing portrait (which you can see as my extra) was done by the Hebridean artist Seonaid Clarke and was displayed as part of an exhibition at An Lanntair over the summer.  It was based on a selfie I took at a ruined church out at Cellar Head, Ness, on the Isle of Lewis, during research for my new book.  I was exhausted and a bit grumpy after hours of trekking across peat bog in the wind and rain.
