Country Power

Today we were lucky to be invited to a friend's farm in Northam.

This photo was taken during a break in a good long lingering lunch.

On the positive side these power lines provide the source of power to nearby farms.

On the other side whilst they are not as bad as solar powered wind turbines they nevertheless do take away a lot of the beauty of rolling fields.

They are also a source of concern in summer when lightning strikes and strong winds often trigger a fire from aging and out of repair power poles.
