Visiting Charlotte.

I've been trying to have a visit with my dear friend Charlotte for some time now, and so this being my official day off (i did allow a customer to come, at a very specific time...it was worth it - she spent a few bucks!!!) i had a wonderful afternoon with Charlotte out on her back deck.   She is such a character.....and we chatted on for hours, drank tea and just enjoyed being together.    She told me this hysterical story about her overnight camping adventure, with 3 others, at Fortress Louis burg, here on Cape Breton Island...in a canvas tent....it rained and the wind blew...but she told the story with such a spirit....she is 86 for gods sake....i wouldn't be camping out in a 17th Century tent, in the middle of nowhere.....but she is an inspiration for sure.

the extras:  Charlotte always has such beautiful little creations all over the place...the dinning room table, and then on her art wall.....i just love looking at what a beautiful environment she creates for herself!

And i've just been informed by Blipfoto - i've reached a blip birthday... 7 years i think.......2,555 entries!  wow, that is a lot of photos and words.....still loving being connected to this community!
