The Shame Calendar

Among a multitude of other things, my friend Heidi brought us torn pages from a "dog shame" calendar. On every page there is a picture of a dog and a note describing the naughty thing it has done. Like "my name is Luke and I ate my mum's best shoes". When I canvassed the bedroom this morning, I found a page and decided to tear it up. Mum laughed and said I am saving up to having my own page in that calendar...

Wonderful things happened today in our house. First, mum boiled pears from the summer house in a sugar-lemon-vanilla syrup. And then she baked muffins with pieces of pears in them! Divine!
