Meeting the Tassie's

Today was a rest day, we teamed up with the Melbourne scholars, and three Kiwis: Matt, Cam and Duncan for a run in the Blue mountains. This was goong very well until we came across a 1.5m red bellied snake basking in the sun on the path. As this was 45mins in, we decided to call it a day turn around (no one has ever died from a bite from one of these... not that we knew that!) Upon returning, Shallot and I met up with the Tassie's, many of whom we'll be staying with in the coming months. A very friendly and welcoming bunch, we should fit right in. They are all staying in this fascinating conversion of a water tower. A huge circular building with a hollow centre and rooms around the outer wall. One suitable for grand designs!
