Egg spoon

This week's challenge is 'spoon' so I dug out this silver antique spoon I inherited from my grandmother. We've always called it an egg spoon but I can't find anything specific on the web about these spoons so not sure how it was used. The photo isn't wonderful - I might try it again later in the week.
It's been a long day - had dealt with my first 'play fighting' which nearly resulted in a black eye by 9.05 this morning and ended the school day chasing 3 youngsters  [13-14 yr olds I'd guess] off the roof of the school!!
