A Day At A Time.

Royal Visit Day 3

Today started off rather wet and windy and it required another Royal Command to bring the sun out obediently, which it did in fits and starts.

Enough for us to venture down the Northumberland coast to Holy Island, where, after a very quick nosey round without leaving the car,we ran the gauntlet of the tide and swished our way through deepening puddles on the way back across the causeway.

Then further south to Bamburgh Castle and Seahouses for the essential fish and chips and ice cream cone to follow.

Now back at Crunklaw once more, nice cup of tea consumed, it seems to be catch up time with Downton Abbey, while I blip.

I put my sister on the London train tomorrow morning and Mum on the Malaga plane in the afternoon.

We've had just such a lovely time together.
