Today was the luncheon and gala for the Kids in Need Foundation. They do great work providing school supplies for children who otherwise wouldn't have any. Imagine the power of getting your very own box of unused crayons for the first time.

I also met an extraordinary young man, Zach Bonner, who, at the age of seven, founded the Little Red Wagon Foundation which helps homeless children. A feature film is being made about his experience. Here's the trailer.

It was a day filled with laughter and tears. I am humbled and inspired by the work these people do for others.
