Proud cousin

My sister, the 'phews and Alice came to meet little Iris today and I hoped I would get a photo with them all together along with Esther. Unfortunately getting a nice photo of five kids is pretty impossible. As James seemed the most enthusiastic about holding her he gets to be today's blip. Apologises for the sweaty look, he came straight from multi-sports.

He asked if he could marry his cousin as he wanted to marry Iris since he broke up with Ivy (his ex at school). I asked him why he broke up and he said it was because she was in love with Jack but it was okay because she had also loved Jack anyway. Jeez it's hard being five!

Lovely easy day despite being very tired. The midwife came and said everything with me and Iris was all good. Esther has took to her little sister. At one point when Iris was crying she said "baby, Iris, crying, biscuit". If only all our problems could be solved with a biscuit!
