Laughing Llama

I've chosen this Blip because the extra is quite depressing.

We went out to Kloster Eberbach for a stroll and perhaps a little hunt for mushrooms.  The area surrounding the Kloster is forest.  Massive trees - many must be over 30m/100ft tall.  It's normally a beautiful walk in the forest.

But.

The last storm that went through wreaked havoc.  Even in the hour or so that we spent wandering around, we saw thousands of trees that had been uprooted.  And in certain valleys that accounted for what we saw as a domino effect. 

It'll be months before they manage to clear up the damage, and it will be decades until the forest regrows.  It was quite brutal to see.

After that somewhat depressing walk we were in need of cheering up.  And we found ourselves here.  The website is only available in German.  I was quite taken with the fact that they offer Llama Therapy.  I have no idea what it involves - other than a llama in some way - but I'm sure it would definitely be a relaxing time.

We couldn't get close enough to get a picture of the spotty llama.  That was very cute.  As were the camels.  And the wallabies.  And the alpacas.

I felt sorry for the 2 macaws though.  Their cage is definitely not big enough.

Anyway.  Have another look at the llama laughing, it'll do you good.
