Day 271/17. Japanese Anemone

According to my gardening wife this is a Japanese Anemone.
They open in August and September and are, if you like, a fanfare at the end of summer. At the end of September they are still in full bloom and provide a flash of coliur as the other plants start to fade into autumn.
