More mud

This Aylesbury duck looked very happy with his bill and feathers covered in mud.

The field is awash with mud as the rain/water does not drain away. With the North Downs on our doorstep, the chalk we should have is in fact almost a couple of feet below thick clay.

Hence the thick mud. But the ducks are very happy.
