Socialising

Been realizing lately that we can easily go a day - or more - without talking Portuguese to anyone - not good. So decided to have lunch at the Adega Velha today - ages since we've had a meal there. They have little choice and the main courses never vary, but always top quality. We had their beans with chorizo, and a homemade raspberry ice-cream for dessert, which was superb. One serving of each - they are huge and no-one minds if you do that here.

And the former owner of the Land was there; we chatted for quite a while. He's one of the leaders of the Communist Party, and there are local elections on Sunday, so he's quite busy.
