Tarawera Morning

Tootled off into town this morning to get some supplies for the hungry fishermen this weekend and the lake was looking so calm and the overcast sky gave it a real glow. So did a wee detour to the Landing at the end of the lake, just as a boat was coming in. The ripples creating quite a pattern. Love these days for photography - although really would like some blue skies and sun!
Passed quite a number of boats heading to the lake on my drive in, it really is quite a crazy time but like in our family, it is a tradition to join the hundreds on October the first and see what can be caught after the three month winter closing.
Might be a late night as not expecting the guys to arrive until about 9 or 10 tonight.
