Waiting for my...

A day through in Glasgow with the SBG.

The excitement of a train journey was quickly followed by the excitement of a visit to GoMA, to find there was a kids art club going on. The kids managed to get their art on for half an hour before the the club finished, and we headed off to meet Iain's Auntie at, yep, Pizza Express.

Turns out their vegan pizza wasn't too bad.

After a long lunch which saw the SBG eat their own body weight in pizza and ice cream, we headed off to the underground (another source of excitement) and over to Kelvingrove for the Frank Quitely exhibition.

Lots of dressing up as superheroes and frantic drawing of their own heroes, while Iain and I enjoyed the sketches and stories.

After a couple of hours at the exhibition, we headed back into town, caught the next train back to Edinburgh and picked up a chipper on the way home.

Their 5.30am start was quickly catching up with them, and after dinner they happily fell into bed - while we collapsed in a heap on the settee for a few hours before bed.
