A souvenir from the Jurassic Coast

A pretty quiet day today unpacking, washing and a very brief Sainsbury's shop... Margaret is off to Ely for the weekend and I'm going to The Race Day and Season Finale at the Shuttleworth Collection on Sunday.

The weather forecast for Sunday isn't great but the updates seem less threatening than the earlier efforts.

I bought this fossil out of a box of many similar for just £1... although not as smart as those beautifully prepared ammonites one sees, it wasn't any where near as expensive either.  I quite like it as an addition to our collection of interesting dust-gatherers from the places we visit. If anyone knows what it is please do let me know.
