Last Rose & First

This miniature rose just bloomed in time for the end of the season. This is the only bloom for 2017!
Thought is had died out after a few years. Actually I never feed it or give extra water so I am lucky to see it at all. The maple leaves are already down and ready  to protect the soil for winter
Finally, our heatwave is over and we have returned to the 40' to 60'sF. Perhaps we will see a little rain this weekend too.
