The Last Day!

It's our last full day on the Costa Blanca region (Spain) after almost five weeks here. We borrowed the Smart car and went for a drive and one place Mrs BB wanted to see again was Moraira, a very pretty upmarket town on the coast. It's seafront is dominated by Castillio de Moraira an 18th century fortification built to defend against pirate attacks.

After a couple of hours walk around the town we drove along the coast road back into Javea Old Town. All the shops were closed and it was like a ghost town so we didn't stay long before heading back to our villa to pack.

We enjoyed a last meal of fish and chips in the local bar, but as we're up at 6am to get to Alicante Airport for our flight, we didn't stay long with our hosts.
