Mont Orgeuil Castle - Jersey

The coast of Jersey is a maze of rocky peninsulas and dangerous shoals. Many have Ironage forts, Medieval castles, Napoleonic towers or WWII bunkers on them. This one is Mont Orgeuil castle on a peninsula on the east coast. This one is well connected at Gorey, but many can be cut off from the shore by the high tides of which Jersey is famous. The tidal reach here can be as much as 36 feet.

Extra is a very late take off from the airport - SleepyJet were running rather behind schedule, but not quite enough to warrant any compensation.
