Wednesday....must be St Johns, New Brunswick

I am entering my photo for Wednesday...... I couldn't get it to load.. The internet on the ship was incredibly slow and impossible to upload  a photo.

This is the reversing rapid of the Bay of Fundy; the tide change is so great that it actually makes the water in the rapids run backwards. I took this photo just as the tide was starting to change so you can see the swirls of change in the direction of the water. There is a glass floor viewing area on the other side of the bridge; we didn't walk over there but I heard people back on the ship say that they were not impressed with the tiny viewing area, but they were comparing it to the amazing glass floor view over the Grand Canyon.  :-))

We took a tour to St. Martin where we could see the big tide change more clearly because the lobster boats were high & dry and the docks were 20 ft above the water level. There were giant caves carved into the hillside where the water was eroding the cliffs. It was very beautiful and fascinating to see the strength of the water.
