Party Day

Church this morning and my goodness was it hard work! William for oncewas a nightmare ( he is normally pretty good in Church apart from his volume levels). I swear everything and anything he could do and knew he shouldn't he did! I took him out to the porch for the first time in about a year and it made very little difference. Carys came out of the Children's litergy and immediately got hit by him, hard, but she took it well.

After Church I had to pick up some photos from Boots, so Carys can send them to her friend in Brighton and took three bags of stuff to a charity shop. I then decided to go for the M&S Dine in for £10 with an O2 voucher bringing it down to £8! Big mistake, W who had been a little monkey in Boots turned into a nightmare in M&S. To cut a not lovely story short, we all went home in not a very happy mood.

This photo is Carys as she prepared to go to a Super Hero Party. Can you guess who she is? Yes that's right Catwoman. "Who is Catwoman Mummy?" This question lead to an explanation of sorts but this is a child who doesn't really watch TV apart from a bit of Cbeebies and cries at the Muppets films because there is a bad man. How on earth was she ever going to know a single Super hero?

Anyway, I finally got to leave her at a party, after accompanying her to ask her friend M's Mummy "If I need the toilet, would you help me please?". Obviously she can toilet herself but she was paranoid about showing her knickers under her leotard! The reason for leaving her was because W had a party that over lapped! So Daddy walked with C's scooter to pick her up while I had to put up with Punch and Judy of all things (everything that is wrong with British society in one fell swoop) at a four year olds party!

Anyway tomorrow is another day and hopefully C will behave better at bedtime after we sat down and made a deal tonight and W will sleep better and be more like himself tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
