Female Goldfinch @ the feeder

The female Goldfinches seem to prefer the Sunflower hearts.Whereas the males go more for the Niger seed?
   There seems to be a good mix of youngsters this season?
Must keep a good supply of food going during the Winter and Spring.
 This will give them a good start into next Summer then.
