The Seamier Side

Today I bring you the side of Kirkwall that is discreetly curtained off when the liner passengers are in town.  So a warm sun beams down onto the HGV park, the old bus station, the redundant bowling alley, the Hydroboard gear shed and the Kirkwall Power Station (oil fired).

Another great day for my washing - a new machine is on its way.  Dancing recommenced at Stenness.  The bus party from Golspie enjoyed it immensely.  They were all impressed to hear about Poppy’s dancing comeback.
