A Walk in the Heavy down pour and then............

Set out this afternoon in the direction of Ennerdale for a walk down the valley. Owing to the heavy rain the road was flooding in several places.
i managed to negotiate two of them but the third flood was to much.

Headed another direction and up over the Local Fells ,Blake and Gavel fell whose footpaths had turned into rivers along with their summits covered in mist. Typical of the weather, on descent the clouds ifted and the sun came out with Blue skies.

A Good end to a wet and windy walk.
