Goodbye, Chincoteague...for now

After breakfast, hubs and I were ready to begin the drive back to New Jersey. But not before I stood out on the dock by our hotel taking a few last photos in the early morning light.

I was quite pleased when this flock of white ibis flew over, making an acceptable blip for the day.

I’m posting this from th car, using my iPhone as a hot spot for the iPad. Gotta love technology.

Thank you for all the love on my monarchs. I have to say that it was one of the most fascinating and wonderful things I’ve seen. So much so that I may try to come back at this same time next year... Chincoteague has proved to be such a magical place to visit, and I know we’ll be back.
