Just walking in the rain

We met our friends B and J and after a fortifying coffee we caught the bus up to Rosthwaite and walked up the Langstrath valley. This is reputedly the wettest area in the country. Just after taking this photo we sat on wet rocks and ate our picnic lunch. It rained all day. Never mind it was good to be outside in a beautiful place.
Going out to a new ( as in untried by us before ) restaurant later. Should be good.

Update. The Fellpack in Keswick. Highly recommended, a smallish menu , all very homemade.
