Up and away

Our poorly friend was well enough to walk today but I reduced the walk by two miles as he hasn't eaten much and was feeling wobbly. JJ has come out in sympathy by starting a cold, so it's really going well.

We left one car at Caerhays Castle and dropped the other at Portloe and then headed back to car one along the coast path. It was sunny for part of the way and the going was reasonable and so much better underfoot than two days ago. It's very pretty with its rolling hills and bracken which is turning rusty-coloured.

Lots of butterflies; red admirals, small coppers and speckled woods.
