First day

K started grade 1 today (they were only there for just over 2 hours) . She loved it and is so looking forward to tmw! The girl she sat next to ended up coming over to play for a while afterwards which was nice.

Amongst the group of expats who came to eat soup and pray tonight the main topic of conversation was routes out of the country if needed. The blockade is certainly making a lot of things tricky for people and I'll probably have to drop my plans to come back to the UK to look after the in laws which I'm gutted about :( Iran shut down its border with us today.
