Lost Paradise

Left all the civilization behind & ventured to the rooftop of the world where the entire mountain is covered with a thick virgin rainforest. In a little patch of clearing, there lay the Rainforest Eco Lodges, nestled in between the wild jungle & a tea estate.

Sitting on the deck of your own chalet, sipping a hot cup of coffee, watching the fog come down from the mountains which're covered with the rainforest, was truly amazing. The breeze that brushes your face is very cold & refreshing. It makes you wonder how such a place still exists in this world due to the unspoilt natural beauty. In these deepest corners of the jungle, the wind has a sound of its own. The entire world becomes quiet all of a sudden & the only thing that you can hear is the very loud wind blowing through the forest & into the tea estate.

The restaurant walls were made out of glass with a 180 degree view of the rainforest all around us. The organic food were very tasty & I think it must be because they're being grown in their own gardens & are being plucked every day, just before the lunch time.

We gathered around the main living areas' enormous hearth, before dinner to keep ourselves warm, when the entire world is being engulfed by the thick mist. The only things visible outside were the faint garden lights in the yonder.

Another once in a lifetime visit to a forgotten area of the country, where civilization is yet to keep its mark upon. May this place be hidden away for many years to come!!
