Woburn Abbey Stag

Our last full day of sightseeing in England before we head to Heathrow's Terminal 5 tomorrow afternoon to return our rental car and spend the night at an airport hotel before flying back to Boston on Thursday morning.

Today we visited Bletchley Park where code breakers worked to crack German and Japanese codes during World War II -- most famously the Enigma Code.  Such an interesting visit!  My head was full to bursting by the time we came out!

We then drove to Woburn Abbey to tour the house and gardens there.  The stunning two-mile drive from the entrance to the visitors' car park through the deer park gave us many opportunities to admire the many herds of deer that live on the estate.  This magnificent gent was enjoying a mid-morning rest under the stately oak trees, and didn't seem particularly bothered by this camera-wielding tourist.
