Autumn in a Nutshell

After returning from a wonderful week in the lakes last Friday I went to the doctors on Saturday for my routine flu jab.  Unlike previous years, sadly, I seem to have reacted to this years vaccine and have had not only a sore arm but a temperature and the all-over aches of flu.  I'm feeling right again today but for the last two days I have felt quite poorly.

This morning I helped out a local club in Sutton Coldfield that had been let down by their booked speaker.  I gave them my illustrated talk on 'Bhutan - The Land of the Thunder Dragon' from my trip of a year ago.  The Programme Secretary was most appreciative of me filling in with less than 24 hours notice.
