 A BT engineer arrived quite early in the day to investigate our dodgy landline/internet connection. Found that we'd been plugged into an unofficial extension that the previous owner must have put in - he tut-tutted about the wiring and restored everything to its correct place (see extra).

I had to go up to Princes St for a few messages, and noticed some chaps beavering away in P St Gardens, removing all the summer bedding plants.
