Stainforth Force

I went to photograph the salmon jumping. It turns out I should stick to landscapes. I think wildlife photography demands more patience than I have. It was fun watching the odd salmon jump for the first hour, but after that... Only two vaguely OK photographs. Well, I say OK - what I mean is, you can tell they're fish. They do not stand up to closer scrutiny! Perhaps I'll try another day. Given the sheer amount of water flowing down the force I think that the fish would be well advised to try that approach too - their success rate was not high. By that, I mean zero, whilst I was watching!
