Ricky ...

Today was the Northampton County Open Gate Farm Tour, which is sponsored by PennState Extension and offers 17 agricultural operations open to the public. 

As the weather was absolutely gorgeous we took full advantage and made plans to visit a couple of the farms.

But before we did that we went to one of R's coworkers as she (T) asked us to take some pictures of one of her three horses for a promotional thing.  This is Ricky ... he is 27 years old and recently survived a very grave illness.  I don't know the whole story ... but the drug company that T used to help Ricky overcome this illness has asked if they could spotlight his recovery for promotional purposes. 

We were more than happy to oblige.  T has two other horses and they are all beautiful!

After leaving T's we visited a couple of the farms in the Open Gate Farm Tour and then stopped at the grocery to pick up a pizza for dinner. Yum!

It was a lovely day spent in the company of my Love! ♥
