The Stupa and the Pigeons

I woke up insanely early and met a friend who took me on a walkabout of Kathmandu.  I got to check out various Hindu and Buddhist temples, receiving all kinds of blessings, and I was back in time for breakfast!  The second half of the conference-day was a little rough, but what can you do? Gorgeous place.
