A shower of roses!

Back to the Monday gym routine this morning. Makes a good start to the week. After lunch went for a swim to complete my day's exercise. The coffee afterwards feels like a well earned treat.
A fine day on the whole, this afternoon light showers created a magnificent rainbow. Pity I didn't have the camera. I thought this pot of roses at the back door looked very pretty with the droplets sitting on the petals. I don't know how much longer they will last but for the moment they seem to be going strong.
Out to rehearsal again tonight. I was asked yesterday if I would look after the 3 chickens that will 'appear' in the play! I said yes, watch this space I can see all sorts of scenarios ahead!
