Cold Comfort Farm.......

.....but the Christmas edition......having listened to an unabridged audiobook of the original CCF read by Anna Massey during the dark watches of last night (punctuated by frequent personal sneezing/coughing fits!) I went in search of more (I'd forgotten how entertaining it was!) and I've just found this serialisation of Christmas at Cold Comfort Farm on the British Newspaper Archive (more particularly from 'The Bystander', 25th November 1938.....have to say the illustrations are AMAZING, not C F Tunnicliffe's usual style at all, definitely 'darker'!), so my afternoon's reading on the couch is officially sorted........
