Cowslips In October

It seemed unseasonably late in the year for these cowslips to be lurking in the long grass just of the 13th fairway this morning.

At least our golf was more consistently good than the weather: we started off in persistent rain and finished in warm sunshine.

A lazy afternoon ensued.
