Definitely a Favourite

It was such a lovely day, and we had a ready made egg and bacon sandwich from yesterday's forgotten cool box, so we decided to go somewhere nice AND bring a picnic! Yay!

This is the small bird lake with a gravel walkway across it, and behind it is one of our favourite forests. We had our picnic on one of the benches in the middle of the lake - well, so to speak - and then went through the forest that was starting to shift in autumn colours. It was great! I even tried to climb a three metre rock!

Outings with picnics are the BEST!
