Uisge-Beatha

A wee adventure of the Arran buses today;

Firstly Lamlash to Brodick then from Brodick onto Lochranza at the very top of the island, destination the Isle of Arran Distillery.

The very entertaining and dapper Campbell, was our guide for today and only his quick reactions prevented him from showing us more than a single malt when a gust of wind caught hold of his kilt!

A couple of tasters later (it would have been impolite to refuse) we tottered down the road into Lochranza itself, a tiny village but oh so bonnie with it's derelict castle at the head of the sea loch and at the foot of the hills!

Combined with sighting of heron, cormorants, seals, eagles and deer.......an awfy braw day :-)))

Thanks to SeasideSusie for arranging the vastly improved weather from yesterday's deluge :-)))
