Argyll

We had to collect some sculptures today from Colintraive in Argyll and Rothesay on Bute.  Many have admired but none have bought.  That's the way of it.  They will be found space in future exhibitions and in our garden.

The drive was punctuated by a few showers but otherwise it was delightful.    We spent some time in Rothesay with Ellen's brother.  It is long past its heyday as a thriving seaside holiday town.  Many buildings are dilapidated with quite a few shops boarded up.  But there are signs of progress, some folks are trying hard.  The blip is from the ferry terminal.
